Shawna's Demo: Still Life with Pears
In November Shawna began the demo for a still life set up. One person brought pears, another brought scrabble letters and then we had two different pieces of fabric for the background. We then went out for a lesson on how to use the photo printing machine where we printed off the images.If you missed that meeting, do not despair! We have images for people to use and we begin painting at the January meeting.
Supplies:
- 8x10 inch piece of watercolour paper
- Watercolour paints -
- Yellow Green (like Sap Green)
- Yellows (like New Gamboge & Yellow Ocher)
- Range of blues & purples
- Reds - cool and warm
- Burnt Sienna
- Black
- Brushes - wide range of sizes
- Masking fluid - a brush that you can use for its application (white synthetic round works well)
- Hair blower and an Extension cord (important)
- water container, paper towel, q-tips (just a few), of course your painting palette
