November Workshop

Today I received a phone call from the NWT Arts Council saying that we received the funding that we applied for!  YAHOO!!!!!

Frans Aeyelts is coming in November.  He will do a public lecture on Thursday November 7th, he will teach in Behchoko on Friday, and we will get THREE days with him on November 9, 10 and 11 (with a moment of silence on the 11th hour).

Drawing Saturday

This event is open to anyone who wants to join us!  This Saturdays Drawing Saturday info is at the end of the post.

Last Saturday we got together for 2 hours in the morning and we drew bonsai trees. It was fun.  Thanks Joyce and Ian for welcoming us into your home.

The results of our two hour drawing session.

This Saturday we are meeting at  Pilots Monument at 10:30 am.  There are plenty of items to draw from up there.  If you want to draw buildings...plenty of options, boats...there they are, planes...quite a range, landscape...check, monument...that is there too!  

There might be too many options given the 2 hour window!  :)   Hope to see you there.
