2015-2016 Meeting, Painting Saturday & Art Show Dates

This coming year the Yellowknife Watercolour Society is changing their meeting days to third Thursday of each month.

Each meeting, after a very short update on what we are doing, we have a painting lesson to continue to develop the range of painting skills for our members.

We also do a monthly show and tell!  The photo below is from the April 2015 meeting.

Join us at our meetings:

We continue to do our Painting Saturdays!

This is where you can work on your own pieces and hang out with a great group of painters.  Every level is encouraged to come.

Drawing YK on Thursdays continues this summer!

We generally begin about the second week of June when the weather is more consistently warm...or at least we hope it is!

We go to various places around Yellowknife and draw.  If you would like to join us watch for more info here on the blog or email ykwatercolour@gmail.com

And last but not least!

YWS Annual Art Show and Sale date has been set!

Come and check out the years worth of work on October 24 from 10am to 4pm in the Northern United Place auditorium!
