2021-2022 dates for our Painting Saturdays and Thursday meetings

These are the dates for the upcoming season:

If you're interested in joining the Watercolour Society and practicing your art, feel free to drop by at our meetings. Please let us know in advance so we can have some supplies ready for you. If you like our group and decide to join, the annual membership fee is $50 and covers the membership to the society and the room rental at NUP. See you there!

Our annual show and sale took place on Saturday and went really well. We thank all those who came to see our work! Here is a sample of the artwork displayed:

2021 Annual Watercolour Show and Sale

 

This Saturday, October 23, will be our annual show and sale! Come and see what the group has been up to this year. Entrance is free and everybody is welcome. Please follow all public health instructions in place. The show is taking place at Northern United Church between 10am and 4pm. See you there!

Sketching Thursdays resuming for the summer

 These are the dates for this summer's Sketching Thursdays en plein air! Meet up at 7pm at the specified location or drop by later. Sessions are cancelled if it rains.

Blue Jay Workshop

On June 5th, Shawna from http://www.dancingravenstudio.ca lead a workshop for the society's members. The participants learned how to paint a blue jay.
